Drill Baby Drill Says Michael Steele Republican Convention-‘Drill, Baby, Drill!’ is the new song/chant provided by former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele at the Republican convention,earlier tonight.Michael Steele,said:
“So, do you want to put your country first?,”“Then let’s reduce our dependency on foreign sources of oil and promote oil and gas production at home.“In other words: Drill, baby, drill! And drill now!,”. “So, do you want to put your country first? Then let’s make decisions about our security based on what keeps us safe and not on what’s politically correct.”
Michael Steele was supporting John McCain’s idea about expanding drilling in off-limits offshore areas.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani took up the cry.
“Drill, baby, drill.”
“Drill, baby, drill,” may sound cute but study found offshore drilling wouldn’t have much effect on oil and gas production or on prices before 2030.Hey McCain 2030 is far,far away so start thinking of a real plan,and a real idea to solve this problem.
